Evening all,

Apologies for the short notice but John Sulli and I will be in Manhaven Bay from 9am tomorrow (Saturday 4th) giving the beach a ‘thorough clean up’ – all help very welcome.

Please bring own gloves etc.

Cheers,

Dougie.

PS, Manhaven is approximately midway between Fenchmans & Marsden bays.

Thanks to everyone who helped clean up Manhaven Beach this morning job well done. I think around 10 bags of rubbish lifted off the beach, mostly plastic bottles and endless bits of fishing line. Enjoyable work in good company and the weather wasn't too bad.

Hi Ray
Man have is the small cove halfway between Frenchmans and Marsden Bay and is used by a local fisherman who keeps his boat in a small hut down there.

Hope that dog is allowed on the beach, Steve. Well done lads and lass. It's just a pity that the public leave the mess in the first place, considering that they carry the full containers to the beach, you would think that it would be a lot easier to carry the empty back with them.
