Had a quick look round trow this morning with keith, robin in main bowl, wren, snipe flew over, female kestrel, and pretty sure we spotted a water rail but couldn't relocate it to be positive. Little owl was showing well on our way out.
Also couple shots from yesterday along the pier

Hi Rob

I keep checking the garden but it hasn't shown so far. I did see another one this afternoon at the back of Fowler St car park and it was heading in the direction of Weste Cem.

cheers for the heads up steve i had excellant views of the nightingale, really suprised how it ventured into the field like that, also a bit bigger then i imagined. only managed a few record shots of the bird. on the brent front i think its 2 adults with 4 juvenile.5 partridge in the field on lizard lane where the greyhounds are kept and 8 greylag flew south when i was on my way home.

The behaviour of the Nightingale was what confused the first lads on site after beeing reported. Really unusal! the bird behaved like a Robin, dropping into the fields and feeding with the thrushes here.
