Been to the academy car park 3 days in a row now trying to get a glimpse of the Blue Headed/Channel/Spanish Wagtail with no joy. I presume it's moved on now. Plenty more to see tho and a chance to bump into some of the lads.

Nice Shot's Lee....Glad to meet you on friday..Sorry I didn't get back before you left..

The apparent Iberian Chiffchaff at Boldon flats today. I'm not sure if this is a separate species, and as such can be put in the 2013 Picture Gallery. Any help would be appreciated.

Paul.

Chiffys along all the sections the Don visited today. Willow warbs. singing near the pond area below the jarra. cem. (nee frog spawn!), Blackies dene, and near the A19 beside the tunnel road.
Only one Blackcap male encountered singing in a regular spot along the Don here.
Three Lesser polls just south of Hill park in the plantations here.
4 Bullies at the north end of the Primrose LNR , 3 males and 1 female.
About 10 Swallows feeding over the playing fields by the Robin hood pub.

Willow warb. and male Blackcap singing in South Marine park this noon...dipped the Yella wags. :-( thanks for the shout Ian.

11 Purple sands on the pier yesterday, in 3 different groups and only a single Sanderling of note.

Otter sign picked up this morning in 4 different places , old shit but nice all the same. ;-)
