With a bit of luck the same dog will get into this habit and have a pop at an Eagle Owl.

LOL yep that would certainly make a good shot Berb - as the Owl carries the dog off into the setting sun - a nice silhouette i think

I was hoping owl would fly out over the cliff or across the main road. It was disgusting to watch.

Plenty of Fulmars were enjoying the wind today - made photographing them a bit easier than normal

Got loads of nice close shots in a short 20 minute session.. Small selection below..

No Snow Bunts around Frenchmans for a week now so I guess they could have set off for home.

Very `brisk`weather on Sandhaven beach today for todays dog walk. Not a lot of bird life unsurprisingly other than some hardy black headed, herring and common gulls as well as ten Sanderling. Did come across a dead puffin which was a surprise (no ring) as it is something I have never encountered on our beach in all my time of wandering up and down it. Saying that if the wind had blown an emu across I wouldn`t have been that surprised...
Lots of cuttlefish on the beach as well. Little haven beach had a dead cormorant on it with rings on both legs so I took the details - going to drop BTO a line and see what comes back.
Happy Spring everyone ;)
