Here is a very poor raptor photo i got whilst in Egypt..

Hi Jason,

Thanks mate - there were a lot of this bird seeming coming in off the sea - perhaps coming off Tiran Island (although i'm not too sure). There were also much bigger raptors with a lot paler underwings and more of a tan body than this bird plus a few falcon types..

Considering i didn't go looking for birds i did manage to see quite a few different species just looking up from my sun bed - lol

I come across an article today regarding a Desert Wheatear at Jarrow Slack's.(1955).It was spotted by a local schoolboy,the bird was later caught & photographed.Anyone come up with any photo's of what these bird's look like.Thank's

I seen this bird this morning along Don road,It was flying amongst Long Tailed Tit's,I only managed this shot anyone I.D. It for me.I've got something In mind but as you all know I'm still learning.

That's your actual redpoll. Don't start a discussion on lesser/mealy(common) or arctic though. The light looks like mealy but I'll leave that to others to discuss

Seen 10+ of these In Jarrow Cemetery,I couldn't I.D. them properly bad light and they were a bit flighty.(maybe redwing)Still learning.
