Sticking my neck out here Sid but I think the first bee looks like a Red-tailed Bumble Bee or Bombus Lapidarius. The second one no idea as I can't pick out much detail from the angle of the shot.

Re pic 3.
It’s the empty papery cocoon from which the Six-Spot Burnet moth emerges. They’re a day flying moth and a common sight along The Leas on calm sunny days (when we get them!)
